A medical team at the Tanta Tumors Center, composed of Dr. Mohamed Attia, Consultant of Oncology Surgery at the Center, and Dr Mohamed Hijazi, an oncologist, succeeded in removing a tumor in a 25-kilogram woman's ovary.
 This came with the participation of an anesthesia team at the highest level headed by Dr. Khamis Abdullah, head of the anesthesia department at the center, and Dr. Shaima Mohammed, professor of anesthesia and central care at the Faculty of Medicine Tanta, along with a nursing staff of the highest level of efficiency.

For his part, Dr. Sabri said in a press release that the center receives hundreds of cases daily free of charge, and that the center performs many delicate surgeries by surgeons at the highest level, who have acquired many experiences that enable them to perform all the surgeries efficiently and safely.

Eslam Sabry, director of the Tanta Tumors Center, said that the center serves a huge population sector that includes 3 governorates of Al-Gharbia, Kafr El-Sheikh and Menoufia in full and in part to the governorates of Beheira and Dakahlia. There is cooperation between the Children's Cancer Hospitals, Nasser Institute, Al-Qumi for Tumors, and the Armed Forces in Tanta and Kafr El-Sheikh. Patients are also receiving treatment at the expense of the state, health insurance, Government bodies and emergency free of charge 48 hours, as there is a dedicated team to end the patient and coordination procedures with all bodies in all parts of the Republic.
