كرم مجلس جامعة طنطا، برئاسة الدكتور محمد حسين، رئيس الجامعة، فريق العمل المشارك في الاعتماد من المستشفيات الجامعية بمناسبة حصول مستشفى الجراحات الجديد على الاعتماد المبدئي من الهيئة العامة للاعتماد والرقابة الصحية (GAHAR، وهو ما يعكس الدور الريادي للقطاع الجامعي في تقديم رعاية صحية متميزة والالتزام بالمعايير الوطنية والدولية
شمل التكريم قيادات وأعضاء فريق العمل الذين ساهموا في تحقيق هذا الإنجاز، الدكتور أحمد غنيم عميد كلية الطب ورئيس مجلس إدارة المستشفيات الجامعية، الدكتور محمد حنتيرة وكيل كلية الطب للدراسات العليا والبحوث، الدكتور حسن التطاوى المدير التنفيذي للمستشفيات الجامعية، والدكتور أحمد سويلم مدير المستشفى الرئيسي والجراحات، والدكتور محمد مختار مبروك مدير إدارة الجودة والاعتماد بالمستشفيات، والدكتورة راجية شرشر نائب مدير إدارة الجودة والاعتماد والبورد العربي، والدكتور محمد سرحان نائب مدير المستشفى الرئيسي والجراحات، والدكتورة أمانى أبو العينين مدير إدارة وحدة مكافحة العدوى بالمستشفيات الجامعية، والدكتورة رحاب هلال مدير العناية المركزة بمستشفى الجراحات، والدكتور أحمد إبراهيم مدير العمليات بمستشفى الجراحات، والدكتورة داليا أبو ريه مدير الصيادلة بمستشفى الجراحات
أكد الدكتور محمد حسين على أهمية هذا الإنجاز الذي يمثل خطوة هامة نحو تطوير الخدمات الصحية المقدمة للمرضى، ويعزز مكانة مستشفيات جامعة طنطا كنموذج يحتذى به في القطاع الصحي المصري، معربا عن فخره واعتزازه البالغ بحصول مستشفى الجراحات الجديد على الاعتماد المبدئي من الهيئة العامة للاعتماد والرقابة الصحية (GAHAR) ، مؤكدا أن هذا الإنجاز ليس مجرد شهادة جودة، بل هو تتويج لجهود جماعية دؤوبة وعمل متواصل
وأضاف رئيس الجامعة أن هذا الاعتماد يعكس التزام جامعة طنطا بتقديم خدمات رعاية صحية عالية الجودة لجميع المرضى، ويؤكد على الدور المحوري الذي تلعبه المستشفيات الجامعية في المنظومة الصحية بمصر، مشددا على أن الجامعة لا تدخر جهدًا في توفير أحدث التقنيات والمعدات الطبية، وتأهيل الكوادر البشرية من أطباء وتمريض وفنيين على أعلى المستويات، لضمان تحقيق أفضل النتائج العلاجية وسلامة المرضى، موجها الشكر لكل فرد في فريق عمل المستشفيات الجامعية، مؤكدًا أن هذا النجاح ما كان ليتحقق لولا تفانيهم وإخلاصهم في أداء واجباتهم
من جانبه، قدم الدكتور أحمد غنيم، عميد كلية الطب ورئيس مجلس إدارة المستشفيات الجامعية، عرضًا تفصيليًا تناول خلاله جهود فريق عمل مستشفى الجراحات الجديد في الحصول على الاعتماد المبدئي من الهيئة العامة للاعتماد والرقابة الصحية (GAHAR)، واستعرض الخطوات والإجراءات التي اتبعها الفريق لضمان استيفاء المستشفى لجميع المعايير والمتطلبات الصارمة التي وضعتها الهيئة، والتي تشمل جوانب متعددة، وأشار إلى أن هذا الإنجاز جاء نتيجة لتخطيط استراتيجي دقيق، وعمل جماعي متواصل، والتزام دائم بالتميز في تقديم الخدمات الصحية
جاء ذلك خلال انعقاد الاجتماع الدوري لمجلس جامعة طنطا عن شهر يونيو برئاسة الدكتور محمد حسين رئيس جامعة طنطا، والدكتور فؤاد هراس رئيس جامعة طنطا الأسبق، والدكتور عبد الحكيم عبد الخالق رئيس الجامعة الأسبق، والدكتور محمود سليم نائب رئيس الجامعة لشئون خدمة المجتمع وتنمية البيئة، والدكتور حاتم أمين نائب رئيس الجامعة لشئون الدراسات العليا والبحوث، وعمداء الكليات، والمستشار القانوني للجامعة، وأمين عام الجامعة.

Following the Provisional Accreditation of the New Surgical Hospital by GAHAR:
Tanta University Council Honors the University Hospitals’ Team
The Tanta University Council, chaired by Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Tanta university President , honored the team from the university hospitals in recognition of their role in securing provisional accreditation for the New Surgical Hospital from the General Authority for Healthcare Accreditation and Regulation (GAHAR). This achievement reflects the university sector’s leading role in delivering high-quality healthcare and its commitment to both national and international standards.
The recognition included leaders and members of the accreditation team whose efforts led to this milestone:
Prof. Ahmed Ghoneim, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the University Hospitals Board,
Prof. Mohamed Hantira, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research,
Prof. Hassan El-Tatawy, Executive Director of University Hospitals,
Prof. Ahmed Sweilem, Director of the Main and Surgical Hospital,
Prof. Mohamed Mokhtar Mabrouk, Director of the Quality and Accreditation Department,
Prof. Ragia Sharshar, Deputy Director of Quality, Accreditation and the Arab Board,
Prof. Mohamed Sarhan, Deputy Director of the Main and Surgical Hospital,
Prof. Amani Abou El-Enein, Director of the Infection Control Unit,
Prof. Rehab Helal, Director of the ICU at the Surgical Hospital,
Prof. Ahmed Ibrahim, Director of Operations at the Surgical Hospital, and
Prof. Dalia Abou Reyah, Director of Pharmacy at the Surgical Hospital.
Prof. Mohamed Hussein praised the achievement as a major step in developing patient care services and enhancing the status of Tanta University Hospitals as a model within Egypt’s healthcare sector. He expressed immense pride in obtaining the GAHAR provisional accreditation, describing it not merely as a quality certificate but as the culmination of tireless teamwork and continuous effort.
He emphasized that the accreditation reflects Tanta University’s firm commitment to providing high-quality healthcare services for all patients and highlights the central role that university hospitals play within Egypt’s healthcare system. He reiterated the university’s commitment to investing in cutting-edge medical technologies and equipment, while continuously developing the skills of doctors, nurses, and technical staff to ensure the best possible patient outcomes. Prof. Hussein thanked every member of the university hospitals' team, stressing that this success would not have been possible without their dedication and professionalism.
During the ceremony, Prof. Ahmed Ghoneim, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the University Hospitals Board, delivered a detailed presentation outlining the team’s efforts in achieving provisional accreditation from GAHAR. He reviewed the strategic steps and rigorous procedures undertaken to meet the Authority’s strict requirements—covering a wide range of healthcare criteria. Prof. Ghoneim highlighted that this success was the result of strategic planning, cohesive teamwork, and an unwavering commitment to excellence in healthcare services.
The recognition took place during the June regular session of the Tanta University Council, chaired by Prof. Mohamed Hussein, and attended by Prof. Fouad Harass and Prof. Abdel Hakim Abdel Khalek, former university presidents; Prof. Mahmoud Salim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Hatem Amin, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; faculty deans, the university's legal advisor, and the university secretary-general.
